20 Months Later.....Monday Weigh-In

My poor neglected blog!

I gave up on my weight loss journey almost two years ago.  I had a lot of excuses.

It wasn't until Pinterest came along that I started to feel that motivation again.  It was a simple saying that got me off my tush!




I started small, first just walking on my lunch hour around campus.  Then I added in an Elliptical workout in the morning before work.  Then I got really brave and signed up for two workout classes!  Aerobics on Tuesday's during lunch and Piliates on Thursday's during lunch.

It was in my Piliates class that I met the elegant, flexible and fit 70 year old woman.  And I said to myself "that's what I want 70 to look like for me".  But let's be honest......I'd be stoked if 50 looked that good!

I have 7 months to get there......I turned 50 in February.

My weigh-in this morning was 162.4.  9 weeks ago I was at 178.1 so I'm headed in the right direction!

And this time I'm not going to quit!
